When Do We Post Today’s Horse Racing Tips?

We publish horse racing tips today and everyday. They are released the day before race day. With a seven days-a-week schedule, any earlier would be confusing, while it’s also important that our systems have the very latest information to base their tips off.

Our AI technology sources all the pertinent information to a horse race. This includes factors such as trainer, jockey and horse form, course records, the going and the weather.

Using this data, we run simulations of the upcoming races. When we have an idea of how we expect a race to pan out, we can match this information with the available bets from our recommended bookmakers.

While picking out the winner of some events on today’s racecards can be easy even for a layman, there are others, such as a maiden hurdle, where the answers are less obvious. This is where our AI technology comes into its own, with an ability to crunch the numbers at a speed that is beyond human capability.

It’s not just tips for horse racing that we publish at BetIdeas, but also football tips and other sports. One of the advantages of using AI is that it can be an expert in any discipline.

Horse Racing Betting Tips by Type

Our popular horse racing tips takes different forms. Here are some of the different types of tips that we give out.

Horse Racing NAPs

The NAP is horse racing tipsters‘ best bet and top tip on the day. If you place a wager on just one single race, then this is the recommendation to follow.

We’re extremely confident today’s NAPs will be winners, so leave your betting decisions at the door and simply follow our recommended singles. It’s also worthwhile checking out each-way horse racing tips too.

NAPs are similar to the bet of the day section that we have for football elsewhere on BetIdeas. Considering that we post several suggested horse racing bets on a daily basis, it says a lot when we mark one of our selections down as such.

Daily Double Horse Racing Tips

Amongst our most popular horse racing betting tips today are our Daily Doubles. With this wager, you select two horses and they both have to be winning bets, for it to be successful.

This can be a good way of getting some value from a pair of odds-on favourites, or to go for a big win with more ambitiously priced horses. We carefully pair our horse racing double tips in a way that marries likelihood of success, with great value odds.

Today’s Trebles

One step up from a double is a treble. With this type of bet all three selections must win if our overall horse racing treble tips is to be successful.

Even with short-priced favourites the odds can mount up across three selections. We won’t lie, it’s a tough bet to pull off and that’s why we’d urge you to consult our AI-generated longshot horse racing tips today, to give yourself the best chance.

Lucky 15 Horse Racing Tips

A Lucky 15 is a full-cover bet in which four selections combine to make 15 separate bets. There are four singles, six doubles, four trebles and a four-fold accumulator.

Many bookmakers will give you some sort of bonus if all four of your selections are winners, while there can also be a bonus if only one leg is successful.

A Lucky 15 will see you get some sort of return if only one of two of your horses are winners, but it’s also an expensive bet, with your unit stake being multiplied by 15.

You must strike the right balance in terms of the odds and making this type of wager profitable, which is why it makes sense to check out our Lucky 15 tips for today every day.

Tomorrow’s Tips Today

It’s not just about the action on the track today. Here at BetIdeas, we’ve also got one eye on the immediate future and next day’s racing. That is where tomorrow’s horse racing tips come in.

Horse Racing Festivals & Major Races We Give Tips For

While our daily horse racing tips mainly cover the regular meetings that place up and down the UK, they are also punctuated with major events. In this section, we’re going to take you through some of the types of races and festivals that really capture the imagination of the general public.

Aintree Grand National

The Grand National appeals to both the seasoned horse racing punter and the person who only places one bet a year, alike. Held at Aintree Racecourse, outside Liverpool each April, it is the biggest Premier Handicap steeplechase in the domestic racing calendar.

Run over 30 fences bigger than you normally see and an extended four-and-a-quarter miles, it’s iconic. Picking an outright winner is tricky, so each-way betting is often the choice of our AI tips for the Grand National.

Cheltenham Horse Racing Tips

If the Grand National is the biggest one-off race, then the Cheltenham Festival is the biggest event. Held in March, this four-day gala of National Hunt racing attracts huge crowds each year.

It features a packed schedule comprised of a varied mix of races that includes novice hurdles and chases, and handicaps with plenty of Grade 1 races in the mix. The highlight of the Festival is the Cheltenham Gold Cup, which is the most prestigious of all National Hunt steeplechases. We’ve got you covered for the Cheltenham Festival each year.

Ebor Festival

York is a historic city for all sorts of reasons but, during four days on the Knavesmire each August, it is the centre of the horse racing world. The Ebor Festival comes from Eboracum, the Roman name for this place.

It is also lends itself to the most valuable staying handicap in Europe. The Ebor Handicap concludes the Festival but, on the preceding, there are three Group 1 races. We have York horse racing tips on them all.

These are the Juddmonte International, Yorkshire Oaks and Nunthorpe Stakes. Each big race tests something different. The classiest middle-distance horses run in the Juddmonte, whereas fillies and mares contest the Yorkshire Oaks and speedsters scorch the turf in the Nunthorpe.

Glorious Goodwood Horse Racing Tips

Another highlight of the Flat racing calendar is Glorious Goodwood, which takes place from the last Tuesday in July through until the first Saturday in August. A five-day meeting on the South Downs, it is also known as the Qatar Goodwood Festival for sponsorship reasons.

Among the feature races at this big summer fixture are the Goodwood Cup for stayers, Sussex Stakes over a mile and Nassau Stakes for fillies and mares. Each has Group 1 status. Glorious Goodwood concludes each year with the Stewards’ Cup, a big sprint handicap.

King George VI Chase

Of all our Kempton horse racing tips, it is the King George VI Chase that attract the most attention. Run on Boxing Day since 1937, this three-mile Grade 1 is second only in prestige to the Cheltenham Gold Cup for a race of its type.

Royal Ascot Horse Racing Tips

Whether you’re a horse racing fan, a member of high-society or a fashionista, Royal Ascot is the place to be each June. The Royal meeting combines top notch Flat racing action with a social occasion that sees royalty in attendance.

It is the former that interests us and we’ll have tips throughout this five-day gala, with the Gold Cup being the highlight. Other Group 1 races during Royal Ascot include the Queen Anne Stakes, Prince Of Wales’s Stakes, Commonwealth Cup and the Queen Elizabeth Jubilee Stakes.

The Classics

The British Classics are some of the oldest races run during the Flat season. Restricted to only three-year-old colts and/or fillies, they begin on the first weekend in May at Newmarket with the 2000 Guineas and 1000 Guineas on the Rowley Mile.

Epsom then follows in early June with The Oaks and The Derby over a mile-and-a-half. Finally, the St Leger tests stamina in September around Doncaster. You can rely on our horse racing betting tips for the Classics each year.

Irish Horse Racing Tips

As well as covering the UK, we also provide a full service for horse racing in Ireland. Many champion racehorses have been trained in the Emerald Isle. These are the major events we give Irish horse racing tips on:

  • Dublin Racing Festival – On the first weekend of February, the Irish Champion Hurdle and Irish Gold Cup take centre stage at Leopardstown. These are the top two of eight Grade 1 races during the meeting that also include the Irish Arkle and Dublin Chase.
  • Irish Grand National / Easter Festival – Fairyhouse is the sight of the Irish Grand National each year on Easter Monday. Although not as far as the Aintree equivalent, it’s the most valuable handicap chase in the Emerald Isle.
  • Punchestown Festival – Come the end of April and beginning of May, the jumps season ends with a bang courtesy of this five-day meeting. Look out for the Punchestown Champion Chase, Punchestown Gold Cup, Champion Stayers Hurdle and Punchestown Champion Hurdle among 12 Grade 1s.
  • Irish Classics – There are Irish equivalents of the British Classic. All take place at the Curragh. Starting with the Irish 2000 Guineas and 1000 Guineas in May, the Irish Derby is the last weekend in June. They run the Irish Oaks in mid-July and the Irish St Leger in September.
  • Galway Festival – The Galway Races at Ballybrit last for a week starting at the end of July and going into August. This isn’t just about horse racing, but Irish culture too. Big handicaps headline most days of the Galway Festival, however, include the Galway Plate over fences and the Galway Hurdle.
  • Irish Champions Festival Weekend – This two-day meeting at Leopardstown and the Curragh in September is the last big one on the Flat of the year in Ireland. Look out for the Matron Stakes and Irish Champion Stakes on the Saturday. The Sunday card includes the Flying Five Stakes for sprinters.
  • Listowel Harvest Festival – Another week-long festival at harvesttime in Listowel. The Kerry National, a handicap chase, is the biggest race midway through the meeting.
  • Punchestown Premiere Weekend – When November comes around, Punchestown’s second-biggest fixture takes centre stage. Grade 1 action courtesy of the Morgiana Hurdle and John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase gives jumpers an early indication of where they are in the National Hunt season.
  • Fairyhouse Winter Festival – Hot off the heels of the Punchestown Premier Weekend, a loaded Sunday card at Fairyhouse is always informative. This includes the Grade 1 Drinmore Novice Chase and Hatton’s Grace Hurdle.
  • Christmas Festivals – There are four-day festive fixtures at Leopardstown and Limerick starting on St Stephen’s Day and lasting until 29 December. Watch out for the Christmas Hurdle, Savills Chase and Faugheen Novice Chase over the Christmas period.
