F1 Predictions and Betting Tips

We provide comprehensive F1 predictions covering all Grand Prix races in this year’s calendar. This means you get tips for race winners, Drivers’ Championship contenders, and other top betting markets.

The best thing about our Formula 1 betting tips is that they are 100% free. You’ll find them right here before every race weekend.

When Do We Publish Our F1 Predictions?

We aim to publish our F1 betting tips F1 at least 48 hours before each GP weekend. While some of our tips are available before this time, we place a strong emphasis on accuracy. Similar to our bet predictions for other sports, this means knowing weather forecasts, track conditions, and other crucial factors.

F1 Predictions MCL tips

Formula 1 works differently from other sports because it’s split into practice, qualifying, and then the race. So, for qualifying and race predictions, we update tips after practice sessions. This allows us to get a more sophisticated look at speed, technical developments, and a bit more about where each driver is.

Our expert F1 tipsters analyse practice session performance, team strategy, and historical driver performances at that weekend’s circuit. We also consider the latest car developments and upgrades, any noticeable changes in team tactics, and more.

What Our F1 Betting Tips Cover

We like to take advantage of the growing number of exciting Formula 1 markets at online betting sites. With so many options to choose from, our expert tipsters provide comprehensive tips for a wide range of different wagers.

Here are just some of the markets you bet on with our F1 predictions.

Grand Prix Winner Predictions

The most popular bet to place on any F1 event is who wins the race outright. Our expert tipsters leverage race-by-race analysis and stats to identify the likeliest winners of a Grand Prix. We factor in everything from car speed and performance, driver standings, circuit characteristics, recent form, and historical performance at a track.

But rather than simply suggesting who is the favourite, we aim to balance our tips. This means identifying value bets at online bookmakers that can be worth an each-way wager. If we find odds that are exceptional when pitted against a driver’s winning potential, we may suggest them as a bet.

Drivers’ Championship Formula 1 Predictions

If the odds available are to our liking, we may also provide F1 outrights for which driver will claim the championship. F1 Drivers’ Championship tips are updated throughout the season, changing as the title race develops. This may be Max Verstappen, George Russell, Lewis Hamilton, or someone else.

Again, we may look to the best value bets if our position changes after consistent improvement in significant race results. You can find our latest tips right here on this page throughout the F1 season.

Constructors’ Championship F1 Tips

These Formula 1 predictions are aimed at concluding which of the big constructors wins the title. For example, McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull, or Ferrari. Picking the Constructors’ champion means analysing data about speed and general performance in Grands Prix and throughout the season and adjusting as we go along.

Head-to-Head F1 Predictions

We also offer specific predictions on driver match-ups in Grand Prix races. For instance, we may provide a tip for Verstappen to beat Norris or even focus on teammate battles or constructor H2H bets. These markets can often yield value as you don’t need to rely on picking the outright winner, but just the winner between two drivers or teams.

Podium Finish Predictions

A podium finish is another of our popular betting tips for Formula 1. Instead of betting on the winner, you can wager on a driver to finish in the top 3 of any Grand Prix. This is a good option when the winner seems a forgone conclusion, or there’s simply too much betting value on a driver to ignore.

More F1 Tips We Offer

We also offer other tips for F1 that you can consider. Some of which provide better value than outright winner markets.

These are some more of our favourite types of tips.

  • Qualifying Head-to-Heads
  • Handicap Betting
  • Grand Prix Retirement
  • Fastest Lap
  • Points Finish Markets
  • Practice Leaders

All F1 Racing Teams in 2025

File:New era F1 logo.png - Wikipedia

The big news in the forthcoming season is Lewis Hamilton racing for Ferrari. The 2025 grid features ten teams with a couple of other notable driver changes for the current campaign.

Our F1 race predictions cover all events featuring the following teams.

  • Red Bull Racing: Max Verstappen, Liam Lawson
  • Ferrari: Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton
  • Mercedes: George Russell, Andrea Antonelli Kimi
  • McLaren: Oscar Piastri, Lando Norris
  • Aston Martin: Lance Stroll, Fernando Alonso
  • Williams: Carlos Sainz Jr., Alex Albon
  • Alpine: Pierre Gasly, Jack Doohan
  • Racing Bulls-Honda RBPT: Isack Hadjar, Yuki Tsunoda
  • Kick Sauber: Nico Hulkenberg, Gabriel Bortoleto
  • Haas: Esteban Ocon, Oliver Bearman

The biggest storyline is Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari in pursuit of his eighth world title. Mercedes has promoted teenager Kimi Antonelli directly from Formula 2 in a bold move, although intense driver battles are likelier than a maiden title.

There will be plenty of pole battles and tough weekends for the big-four teams and others to look forward to. The 24-race campaign will be covered prominently in our 2025 F1 predictions today and throughout the season.

Rule Changes in Formula 1 this Season

  • There are some significant 2025 F1 rule changes to look out for this season. Removal of Fastest Lap Point
  • More Rookie Season Running Time
  • Modified Restrictions on DRS Designs
  • Minimum Car Weight Increased to 800kg
  • Introduction of Car Cooling Systems

These are some of the regulation changes set to take effect. You can find out more about adaptions and adjustments to current F1 cars on the sport’s official website.

Effective F1 Betting Tips & Strategy

We make F1 betting predictions based on a wide range of criteria. While we don’t have the time to cover this in comprehensive detail, we’re happy to provide some tips and strategies.

Here are a few to get you started.

Look to History for Track Consistency

Some drivers and teams perform better at specific circuits. Much of this can be explained by how one car’s characteristics are suited to the shape of a track, racing altitude, and surface. When they have the car suited to a track – like Lewis Hamilton who holds the record number of wins at Silverstone, for example – it’s worth backing F1 predictions for them.

Monitor Expert F1 Qualifying Predictions

You can bet on qualifying positions at circuits, or use that data to place bets. Whether it’s defending champs or season rookies, our expert F1 qualifying predictions focus on who claims pole position, factoring in the unique difficulties of circuits like Monaco or Singapore. Qualifying performance is mostly about raw pace, however, while races are built around team strategy, tyre management, and potential weather changes.

Consider Intangibles in the Forthcoming Season

An intangible is something a driver can’t really account for (wild weather) while a tangible is something they can (difficult track conditions). When you combine both, however, things can get out of hand. Translated to bets, unpredictability can lead to us adapting our F1 predictions, so make sure to check in for updated tips for all championship battles.

Leverage In-Play F1 Betting

If potentially bad weather is forecasted, get extra data from watching the race before placing an in-play wager. You can always use pre-race F1 2025 predictions as a call on what should happen in a race. But unforeseen circumstances can influence strategy calls, tyre changes, safety car periods, and track conditions the bookies can’t account for pre-race.

FAQs

What are the best F1 predictions to bet on?

This ultimately depends on how you want to bet and what our most reliable F1 predictions are. For beginners, Grand Prix winners and podium finish bets are often a good shout. The intermediate to more experienced F1 bettors still wager on these as well as outright winners, and driver vs driver markets. Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championship bets provide longer-term betting value across the season.

Why are your F1 tips free?

We offer our tips (whether for Formula 1, horse racing, or anything else) for free simply because we can. We feel it’s nice to give something back to our readers in the form of bet ideas for well-informed bets on F1.

Where can I bet on F1 2025 driver predictions online?

All major bookmakers like bet365, Paddy Power, Ladbrokes, and William Hill take F1 bets. You’ll find comprehensive markets for F1 2025 driver predictions and outrights with these and other top bookies like Betfred, Boylesports, Spreadex, and others.

Why is number 17 banned in F1?

Number 17 wasn’t banned in F1. Instead, it was permanently retired from the sport following the tragic death of Jules Bianchi in a fatal accident at the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix. This was a posthumous mark of respect to Bianchi, who raced with number 17.
